The CEPS site was deleted long ago off a server in cornell.
It was a fun site, and I happen to have made a copy of some of the sound
files that were on it. The consist of Proffesor Fleischman and some
students playing with a microphone. Unfortunately, the good parts of the
site are lost forever.
FORMAT IS mostly SYSTEM 7 MAC SOUND FILES which I had to change to WAV to put here.
I have no converter yet!
The other part of the sites was links and such
I recall one link to a star wars site: thus below is a link to a star wars site: The Official Star Wars Web Site
Super Trivial Temperature Converter
Some useful Conversion Factors
As found in "Basic Tables in Physics": Robson C 1967
1 in = 2.54005 cm
1 light yr=.307 parsecs
0 K = -273.16C = -459.72 F
h = 6.6252 +- .0005 E-27 erg-s
k = 1.38042 +- .00010 E-16 erg/K
G = 6.670 +- 0.005 E-8 cm^3/(gm-s)
As found in Chemistry by Brown and Lemay (1991)
1 in = 2.54 cm (exactly)
0K = -273.15 C = -459.67 F
1 J = 1 E7 ergs
As found in Particle Physics Booklet: July 1996 The new one is on the particle physics site on the web
